So I tried an old version of BitTorrent as well, which was from the same era, basically the exact same program with a different logo and name. There was no issue when it was originally downloaded, or installed.īut I got the same warning from AV when installing. The copy of the uTorrent.exe was version 2.2.1, and it had been on that hard drive for at least 6 years. On this hard drive, I have a copy of the install files for every program I regularly use. Well I didn't even go to the web to download most of my programs, I used an old backup hard drive I have. Then one day my hard drive died, and I had to start again. I think this is more to do with the antivirus programs than uTorrent.
